Explanation of Terms

European Union Right of Withdrawal

Consumers located in the European Union may use the withdrawal request form above to exercise their statutory right of withdrawal. Submission of the form constitutes notice of withdrawal for purposes of applicable European Union consumer protection laws.

Your Right to Withdraw

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days after:

  • You, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), take possession of the goods; or
  • In the case of multiple items delivered separately, the day on which you receive the final item.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal by submitting the online withdrawal request form above or by contacting us at support@ambientinks.com.

Upon submission of a withdrawal request, you will receive confirmation that your request has been received without undue delay.

Returning Your Items

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw. 

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen (14) day period has expired.

Returns should be sent to the return address provided by our customer support team. Customers are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of shipment. Ambient Inks may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until you provide evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Refunds

If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, Ambient Inks will reimburse all payments received from you for the returned goods, including standard delivery charges where required by applicable law, without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving notice of withdrawal.

Ambient Inks may withhold reimbursement until:

  • The returned goods have been received; or
  • You provide evidence that the goods have been returned,

whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

Any additional delivery charges arising from a shipping method selected by the customer that is more expensive than our standard delivery option may not be reimbursed except where required by applicable law.

Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect and handle goods as you would in a retail store to determine their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

You may be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection.

Returned items should be sent back in their original condition whenever possible.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to a consumer's specifications;
  • Clearly personalized or customized merchandise;
  • Custom-produced merchandise;
  • Made-to-order merchandise;
  • Print-on-demand merchandise;
  • Sealed audio recordings, CDs, vinyl records, cassettes, or other media that have been unsealed after delivery;
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed; or
  • Any other goods exempt from withdrawal rights under applicable law.

Where an exemption applies, the product may not be eligible for cancellation, return, or refund under the EU right of withdrawal.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Nothing on this page affects your legal rights relating to products that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise fail to conform to applicable consumer protection laws.

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us at support@ambientinks.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
